He judged the cause of the poor and needy; then it was well with him. Was not this to know Me?” saith the Lord.

“He defended the cause of the afflicted and needy; Then all was well. Is that not what it means to know Me?” Says the Lord.
He judged and defended the cause of the poor and needy; then it was well. Was not [all] this [what it means] to know and recognize Me? says the Lord.
He judged the cause of the poor and needy; then it was well with him: was not this to know me? saith the Lord.
He took up the case of the poor and needy; then it went well. Is this not what it means to know me? This is the Lord’s declaration.
He defended the rights of the poor and needy; then it went well. Isn’t that what it means to know me? declares the Lord.
He upheld the cause of the poor and the weak, so everything went well. Isn’t that what knowing me is all about?” says Adonai.
That's what it means to truly know me. So he lived a comfortable life and always had enough to eat and drink.

He judged the cause of the poor and needy for his own good: was it not therefore because he knew me, saith the Lord?
Josiah helped poor and needy people, so everything went well for him. Jehoiakim, what does it mean “to know God”? It means living right and being fair. That is what it means to know me. This message is from the Lord.
He did what was right for people who were poor and helpless. So people were happy. That is how people who know me should live.’ That is what the Lord says.

He gave the poor a fair trial, and all went well with him. That is what it means to know the Lord.

He judged the legal cause of the needy and the poor, and then it was well. Is that not what it means to know me?” declares Yahweh.
He saw to it that justice and help were given the poor and the needy and all went well for him. This is how a man lives close to God.
“Doom to him who builds palaces but bullies people, who makes a fine house but destroys lives, Who cheats his workers and won’t pay them for their work, Who says, ‘I’ll build me an elaborate mansion with spacious rooms and fancy windows. I’ll bring in rare and expensive woods and the latest in interior decor.’ So, that makes you a king— living in a fancy palace? Your father got along just fine, didn’t he? He did what was right and treated people fairly, And things went well with him. He stuck up for the down-and-out, And things went well for Judah. Isn’t this what it means to know me?” God’s Decree! “But you’re blind and brainless. All you think about is yourself, Taking advantage of the weak, bulldozing your way, bullying victims.”
He judged the cause of the poor and needy; then it was well with him. Is not this what it means to know Me? says the Lord.

Because he dispensed justice to the weak and the poor, he prospered. Is this not to know me?— oracle of the Lord.
He pled the cause of the afflicted and the poor, Then it was well. Is that not what it means to know Me?” Declares the Lord.
“He pled the cause of the afflicted and needy; Then it was well. Is not that what it means to know Me?” Declares the Lord.
Because he dispensed justice to the poor and needy things continued to go well for him. Is this not what it means to know me? asks the Lord.
He helped those who were poor and needy, so everything went well for him. That is what it means to know God,” says the Lord.
He upheld the cause of the poor and needy. So things went well for Judah.’ The Lord says, ‘That is a good example of what it means to know me.
He stood up for those who were poor or needy. So everything went well with him. That is what it means to know me,” announces the Lord.

He pled the case of the poor and weak, so it went well. Is not this knowledge of Me?” It is a declaration of Adonai.

He judged the cause of the poor and needy; so it was well, then. Wasn’t this to know me?” says Yahweh.
He deemed the cause of a poor man, and needy, into his good; whether not therefore for he knew me? saith the Lord. (He judged the cases of the poor and the needy, for their good; did this not show that he knew me? saith the Lord.)
He decided the cause of the poor and needy, Then [it is] well -- is it not to know Me? An affirmation of Jehovah.
